Adult Program - Mason Jar Herb Garden

We'll make a mason jar herb garden you can take home. We will also indulge in Potted Chocolate Pudding. YUM! Take home information on some fun garden projects, like how to make a fairy garden. Registration required.

Board Game Night for Adults

If you love playing board games we have an evening of entertainment perfect for you. Bring your favorite board game to the library and share it with a worthy opponent. If you like solving puzzles you will enjoy searching for your family history. Come in to the Genealogy room and see all the resources available to dig into the roots of your family tree. Free access to Ancestry.com and other methods to search on the web or if your ancestors are from Jennings you can use old newspapers and other local records to find them. If you have never done family research before we will be happy to help you get started, including free forms to keep track of what you dig up.

Adult Program - Burrowing animals

Our burrowing animals are bunnies and hedgehogs. You’ll learn how to make Origami Inflatable Bunnies and, if there’s time, Rice Krispy Treat Hedgehogs. There will be handouts for making a hedgehog from a book, yummy pretzel bunnies, and more. Space is limited so registration is required.
